port out number but keep active line

Question

I am looking to port a number out but want to keep the active line with ID.

Basically my wife and I have separated, but I am in contract and she uses the number, I want to retain a line with iD and the upgrade anniversary as it is, but want to port the number that she uses out and be issued a new number. Is that possible?

Unfortunately that’s not possible, if you port the number elsewhere the iD line will be disconnected. Thanks.
