Hi I would like to change the account name please.

Hi @Marc Nicholls,

We would be unable to change the full name of the account holder unless it has been changed by deed poll. Is this the case?

We can, however, change the surname as a result of the same outcome or if a marriage/divorce has occurred.

Hi I would like to change my surname on the account. I changed my surname by deed poll some time ago and just haven’t got around to it as I lost the documents.

Hello @Shantayvia,

We can’t change the username on your iD account but we can update your name on the iD Mobile account for the records we hold if needed. We’ll need to see the deedpoll in order to do this so let us know when you find it.
