Security code not sending

I’m not receiving my 8 digit security code. This means I can’t set up my online iD account, so can’t set up anything.
I have tried using my new iD sim and my old sim.
I am receiving texts from iD about bills, but not the security code.
What do I do?

How are you requesting this code?

Is this via the app or our website?

If you're doing it by the app, can you try via the website?

You'll need to have the active iD SIM card in the phone, this will be the one that has services available to it.

Let us know how you get on and we'll advise further what can be done.

My if sim not working and I can’t get security code to activate it in the phone . It’s just not working

Try the Live Chat service - if you speak to an iD agent between 9am - 8pm weekdays, they’ll be able to help.

Very often, a non-working SIM can be fixed by:

  1. Turning OFF your phone.
  2. Taking out the SIM card and carefully check all the gold contacts are clean and free from finger marks, et cetera.
  3. Putting the SIM back in the handset - make sure it’s fitted into the SIM tray properly.
  4. Turning ON your phone.

I am in similar situation- I just got my SIM card today, so if it does not work.
