I have just upgraded my phone. My old phone was 4g and my new phone is 5g ready. Can I use my old sim in my new 5g ready phone or do you need to get a 5g sim to access 5g network?

To answer your question the answer both is yes and no

 

Yes you can continue using your existing (old) SIM card

And no, as there is no 5G SIM
