Question

Can I move my number from other network to ID mobile contract?

I would like to move my other number from another network to ID mobile, I don’t mind losing the current ID mobile number, but I’ll still keep the contract but just want to change to another number from another network, is that doable?  The other network already confirmed they’ll provide me the PAC number.

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply, but I’m unable to open the link.

Can I please confirm if I switch my number over, will that be in my current contract or will I start another contract with you?  I don’t want to start another contract, just want to use the current contract but use a different number.

    Kind regards,

Hey there @pennys, if you move your number from another network to us, the old contract with them will end, and your new contract with us will continue as normal, just with the number you transferred over to us.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

    Hi Tyler,

Thank you for confirming.  Can you please confirm how I can proceed with this?  Do I just get the PAC number from the other network?

    Thank you

    Kind regards,

Can you please confirm how I can proceed with this?

Click the link in post two and read the page. It provides all the information you need to know about transferring your number to iD Mobile and obtaining a PAC.

Hey there @pennys, that’s correct, yes. You need a PAC code from them, then fill out the form I sent above.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

    Hello Tyler,

As I said, I can’t open the link. Can you please resend? or attach the form for me?

Also, how long does it take to switch the number over?  As it’s my main number, I kind of need the switch fairly fast.

    Thank you

    Kind regards,

    Chloe

    Hello,

I’m not sure why but the link you provided, just give me a blank page always, please see screenshot.  So I don’t know how to proceed with this switch.  Can you please send me some downloadable form or is there an alternative way I can complete this switch?

    Thank you

    Hi @pennys

    I’d recommend the following steps at the below using the iD Mobile app/website;

    Hi @Tom ,

I've been trying to port my number to Idmobile for 4 days now and seeing the same issue. Tried to complete steps on the website that you've mentioned, but getting the same blank screen as @pennys .

Also tried to get in touch with the customer support and haven't managed yet.

Appreciate any tips on how to resolve it.

it makes me wonder if it’s a good idea to actually switch my main number to them if it’s so difficult to just find out a simple process to switch.  There’s no real person behind to speak to, can’t call anyone.  Communication is very limited through this community blog.  I’m giving up. @Slonik

My exact same thoughts @pennys .. unfortunately I've just got into the 2 year contract with them.
