Am not 3G, have the ID logo top of screen.  No bars.  Have tried all recommended fixes but nothing.

Can’t find how to request replacement SIM on line.

Chat box takes you round in circles.

Live chat, agent came in, dropped out without anything, wait time increased to 41 mins then 221 mins.

Curry’s not seem to offer ID SIM  (only another brand).

What to do?!

thank you

Same, getting nowhere.

Brand new phone.

iD really unhelpful

Beware!  Just received a private message offering help.

Phone number showing up as current scam doing the rounds - not everyone is helpful...

Hi @Claire777 @timstickland,

Welcome to the Community!

Please can you enable VoLTE on your handset and see if that works?

Kash

Thanks Kash, my phone is showing as VoLTE enabled. Worked away from home today, outside of London and can make and receive calls just not when I am in London area.  So not sure where that leaves me as I do want to make/receive calls at home.

New phone or replacement sim or new provider??

Hi @Claire777

Please could you let us know the postcode(s) where you’re having issues with calls?

Tom

SW16 and SW14

Thank you

@Claire777 -

I see Three UK shows limited signal in these areas, but so do the other major UK networks. What phone are you using? Thanks.

Samsung Galaxy A20e.  Showing as Volte enabled and on the approved phone list.  Thank you

New phone?  Concerned about upgrading and having same issue though.

Thank you

Hey there @Claire777, have you ensured Wi-Fi calling is also enabled?

Also, do you have any phone updates that need doing at all?

Thanks,

Tyler

Thanks,

I have all the above . switched ID mobile to  new phone -  was  on sony xperia now on samsung A20e . works fine for a week but last couple of weeks not been able  to  make or receive calls. volte and 4g settings etc all set.. done all the resets..

what is going on? why is there a problem with the error.. seems to be affecting a lot of customers. not sure what else to do.. don’t know how to get a new sim.. can’t find a way to talk to even a chat bot

Hi @Joe Nguyen, we’d recommend trying a new SIM card in this instance. You would be able to contact our Live Chat team to issue a replacement SIM card. Alternatively, you’ll be able to pick up a free replacement at any local Currys store.

For the live chat, if you type into the chat box ‘speak to an agent’ or select this option, you’d be put through to a live advisor.

Just checking @Joe Nguyen

Was the A20e direct from iD?

If the Xperia is unlocked to all networks does the iD SIM work in that?

You could put your postcode (or all the other areas) in to these

https://www.three.co.uk/content/experience-fragments/threedigital/uk/en/site/mvno/network-status-checker/idmobile.html

It should show if there’s any known issues at your postcode(s).

And this one shows the predicted strength for (defaults to) 4G , then toggle to 3G and 5G
