Contract end and switch to Sim only

My contract ends tomorrow and have selected a pay monthly, Sim only plan (which my ID app now displays). Do I have to physically cancel the contract plan or will it cancel automatically and I continue as normal with my same number??

Changing the plan would mean that you keep your number.

Hi ​@DJDavies  you would need to contact us directly to cancel the plan and get a PAC if that is what you would like?

If not, the plan would continue as it is until you should wish to make any changes.

Hi Sian, I just want the £45 contract plan to end (today) and move to my sim only plan which I think it has. I got an email through today saying so.It seems to have automatically kept my same no, so dont need a PAC? App says I'm on sim plan also so contract plan will have ended and won't continue ?
