Swapped from android to iPhone XS (with updates iOS 18). I upgraded mobile plan from monthly pay to contract plan - which still has not even begun! Tried several times to load an eSIM, spending several hours on live chat where it is a miserable experience.
At one point, after entering manual eSIM info I was asked for a “confirmation code”. I haven’t had one. So, if iD have problem loading an eSIM :
do I even need it?
why have I gone so long without calling or texting?
why can I not leave to another provider as my contract has not even begun without paying £95+!!!!
I go to Portugal soon so really need my phone. I saw on here a guy had problems over there.
