forwarding calls via esim on my samsung

I have a samsung s21 I have tried to Forward my calls to another number through an esim but I am getting an error message. Does anyone know why this is happening.

It doesn't seem to allow me to even select the option to which is applicable

Can you try performing a network reset then try again?

It's the first time I am doing it with iD I had no issues previously with a different network provider. Could this be an issue because I am using an esim rather than a physical sim card?

No! Have you tried resetting your network settings as previously instructed?

Yes have reset mobile network settings and getting the same error message

I have an eSIM and I can configure call forwarding. Maybe try performing an eSIM swap.
