getting a phone unlocked

Hi guys, I purchased a Google pixel 8 Pro in December of 23 on a 2-year contract. I will be going to New York very soon and wondering if I can use an e-sim like holifly without having to unlock the phone

Your Pixel 8 Pro won’t be network locked, if purchased in the UK, ​@Jer Blinman. 

OFCOM banned mobile networks from selling network locked phones in Dec 2021, so a holafly eSIM will work just fine in your Pixel device.
