I ordered a pay monthly phone and Tariff yesterday, I revieved a “Order Acknowledgment” email and then this email 20 minutes later...
“The order you placed through www.carphonewarehouse.com has been accepted by the iD Mobile network, however not for the chosen handset and tariff combination that you have ordered. The network would be willing at this time to offer you one of their great sim only packages.”

What is wrong with the “handset and tarriff combination”?  It has been available on carphonewarehouse for a week or so and is still available now,  I have just re-ordered exactly the same without any problem,,, all handsets in-stock,,, delivery scheduled for tomorrow,,, PAC from existing provider entered and validated…

What is the problem?  I don’t want a sim-only package, I want new handsets.

You need to ask Carphone Warehouse as they are the only ones who have access to your order history.

It sounds like you may have passed a credit check, however not for the original plan, you may need to go for a different device or tariff.
