Help with insurance claim after Currys 'Repair' sent me a replacement without my knowledge.

Sent off my phone for repair , get a call from the insurance that the imei doesn't match what's registered or what's on the box I have. 

First week of having phone in 23 I took to currys for a fault within warranty.  

Got it back as " Repaired"  thought nothing of it. Clearly this must have been a replacement.  

Insurance want proof of purchase of the imei that I have sent off. 

Very unhappy !!! Someone must be able to help .
