The phone came with the contract on 14/08/24.

For the coverage issues, are you connected to 3G, 4G or 5G when having issues please?
I can also see that your postcode lies next to the coast, which can sometimes affect signal I’m afraid.

Thank you Tyler. I don't use my phone for calls if I can help it because it's so bad. I just had a client call me and she seemed to be only hearing odd words. I could hear her OK. We could not continue. now i have to go home to call her from my wifi.
I was on G5 auto connect, but actually connected to 4G

If you do a search for this problem with SG S23 then you will see that there have been a LOT of problems reported with regards to poor battery performance/drainage.
Here are a few suggestions that seemed to have worked for other people that were encountering the same problem (these were copied from SG forums):-
