I am using dual numbers on SMS and calls

I am new to 1D, have a new phone and sim and transferred my old number over to the sim but when I text anyone its the 1D temporary number that people see and not my old number, when I call anyone its all good with the old number.

Can anyone help me as its causing a problem when people ignore my texts as they dont recognise the number.
