I have provided my pac number but number hasn’t transferred and I can’t find my welcome email with id phone number or transaction number.  Please help ASAP as my old number has already been disconnected

You said the port was scheduled to happen today. If so, the iD Mobile number will be deactivated and replaced with the number you’re porting in. Like I said, this doesn’t happen instantaneously; it happens in stages. Losing service during the porting process is normal behaviour and you should have service again soon.

Hi @luigi218  have you checked your junk/spam folders? The transaction number will begin with a ‘4’

If you still can’t locate this, please let us know.

No sorry, I think I must have deleted it by accident after I used it to transfer my number but my number isn’t working.  Please advise of ID mobile number, as this isnt working either and I am unable to make calls or text even on that number

I thought it was today’s date I entered as my old plan would stop  today.  I am able to use email and internet but just not calls or text.

Did you provide your PAC at the point of sale @luigi218 ?

If so, what porting date had you selected?

You need to be patient! The port doesn’t happen instantly, it happens in stages and can take until 10pm to complete. Come back tomorrow if you have a problem.

if someone was able to confirm that the switch has been recorded and will happen tomorrow, I would be more than happy to wait

I didn’t say the port will happen tomorrow! You need to stop panic posting and wait until the port completes later today.

OK @luigi218 if you had selected todays date, and you old SIM has already lost service, this means the port should be taking place now.

As @WelshPaul  has advised, this is not instant. Your switch can happen as late as 10pm on the day you selected. Once your switch is complete, you’ll receive an email and an SMS to your new iD Mobile SIM to confirm. You can reboot your phone periodically to check this.

@Siân my old sim has stopped working due to not renewing the contract, not the transfer.  I will check later today, thank you

You don’t renew a contract unless you upgrade. A contract simply continues on a month-by-month basis until you either port out or provide the network with 30 days’ notice to cancel.

@luigi218  if the number from that PAYG SIM is the one that you have ported over to iD, then that is why it has stopped working, otherwise it would still be active.

Yes @luigi218  if today is your port date, and your old SIM has stopped working, your port should go through successfully by 10pm.

@Siân good morning, I still have no phone service, not even on ID mobile SIM.  Is it possible for you to check on my number transfer please, as I need a phone service due to family circumstances.  If this is not possible and my number does not transfer today, I will be left with no option but to return the handset and go back to old provider.  Please can you assist in any way possible.

@Siân I would like this matter escalated to someone who is able to check my activation date/details please.  I am concerned that I may have done something wrong as I would have imagined that I would have access to an ID mobile number until porting was complete.  I need access to a phone service as my elderly mother is unwell and I need to be able to be contacted by hospital.  Please help me or I will have to ask to return my handset and terminate my contract

Hi @luigi218  has your port not completed? Have you tried rebooting your handset?

@Siân I have received a email to say that it is complete and rebooted my handset but still unable to make calls.  Also when I try to set up ID mobile account it says sending a code but it never arrives.  Any idea?  We are getting closer, I hope :)
