Hi, i’ve brought a new sim only contract yesterday and when i go to log in it comes to a page asking for my surname and date of birth and my phone number. i’m keeping my old phone number. i put my phone number into it and it just says that my details don’t match the records. is this because i have to wait for the switch to happen or is it something else?

Another Question, iam guessing that this my temporary number. I’m using my old number as i put my old number into and my PAC code. but then i go to log in to the app i have to get a text from the temporary number which i dont have yet as the sim card hasn’t come yet
+22Register with either the new number or wait until the old number ports across. You get sent a OTP so need to register using the number that’s active.
+22Pretty sure I registered with the temporary number and when the number ported it automatically updated on my iD account.
I haven’t been given a temporary number yet as my old phone contract terminates on this friday when the switch happens

Yes when iD dispatch the new SIM card it will have a new phone number assigned. When your port date happens your old number will override this.
