I recently just got the iphone 16 pro and I am having trouble activating my imessages and facetime it looks to be common problem with an id sim sadly. I was wondering how I could get in contact with someone directly at id instead of the live chat bot that is no help? thanks

+22Switch iMessage and FaceTime off on your phone. Make sure your phone number is updated to the correct one in settings. Turn your phone off/on. Switch iMessage and FaceTime on again. Wait for activation. That’s what I always do when I upgrade my iPhone every year.
Yes I did see this article although my issue is now resolved I have no clue how but I know for certain the information in that specific article did not help resolve it. Thanks
