imessage actuvation error on iphone 16 pro

I recently just got the iphone 16 pro and I am having trouble activating my imessages and facetime it looks to be common problem with an id sim sadly. I was wondering how I could get in contact with someone directly at id instead of the live chat bot that is no help? thanks

Switch iMessage and FaceTime off on your phone. Make sure your phone number is updated to the correct one in settings. Turn your phone off/on. Switch iMessage and FaceTime on again. Wait for activation. That’s what I always do when I upgrade my iPhone every year.
