Issues with replacement sim after reactivation following stolen phone

I recently had my phone stolen while abroad. On arrival back to the UK I got myself a replacement sim from Currys and activated it. Despite receiving a text saying my line is active, and also having 5G and mobile network coverage, my phone only works on Wi-Fi. I am unable to make/receive calls and text messages, and my data does not work.

 

I cannot get hold of ID due to their chat system constantly being down. I have tried restarting phone / resetting network setting ect but nothing works. It’s now been over 24 hours.

I just clicked the live chat link, and after entering my info, I was connected to a live chat agent within seconds.

Hi ​@Sam Truelove  sorry to hear of the trouble you are having with your SIM.

What handset are you using please? Do you have an alternative handset to test your new SIM in?
