message send failure

Recently switched to ID Mobile and I’m not unable to send text messages to anyone. Wondered if there’s a quick fix to this issue and is it common? I can make calls as normal and WhatsApp is fine but texts just bounce back.

Hi @Jack Bagley & @ahagerty

I’d recommend the following;

1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3) Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under "Start new conversations from:"

If you are having issues with step 4 please reset network settings and try again.

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

If the above doesn’t work, it may be worth instead trying a replacement SIM card.

Just wanting to add that I also recently switched to ID Mobile and also can’t send text messages. on iPhone 15, latest iOS, restarted, done all that stuff. I get a message ‘Not delivered’. Can’t find any actual support tel number on here to call. Not a good first impression of this network!
