Mr

My daughters are now both over 18 and the contracts on their phone are expired / they wish to upgrade and get new handsets. However as they are both over 18 they want everything in their own name and i want them to pay for their own phones. How can this happen? C

They will need to take new contracts out with new numbers in their own individual names and bank accounts and pass a credit check.

Hey there @Clovetodd, thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, you cannot change the name on an account, as it’s based on your own personal details and credit/security checks etc.

Furthermore, you cannot directly transfer a number from one iD Mobile contract to another. Therefore, to keep the number, and have it in their name, they’d need to either move to another network, or complete a triangle port.

A triangle port is where you move their number to another network on pay as you go, and then move it back to us in the new plan you bought, in their name.

Thanks,

Tyler

Hello, recently you transferred my old number to you from Vodafone to id mobile. When I call someone, my old phone number from Vodafone is displayed, but when I write messages, the new one from id mobile is displayed. Could you change it for me?

Hi @Radoslaw

We would recommend changing the mobile number in the phone settings.
