No network connection after number swap

I had an ID account. Bought a new phone with an attached ID contract. I wanted to keep my number, so got a gaff-gaff pay as you go sim (physical sim), got a PAC code & swapped from ID over to gaff-gaff, then got a PAC code to swap back to ID (on esim). Am using the same email for my new phone as with my original ID account. Yesterday ID were swapping me over from gaff-gaff. Got an email this morning saying that good news, my number had been swapped, but I have no network connection. I have removed the physical gaff-gaff sim, switched the phone off & back on, but I have no network connection. When I try to log on to ID with my email & phone number that I swapped back I am told that the account no longer exists.

Can someone please help????

Probably best to resolve this issue by using the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser ​@lindat54   

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.
