No SIM shown on my phone after switch

Hi, I have received email confirming that my old number has switched to iD but when I insert the new SIM into my phone it shows "no SIM"

 

I ve been trying to contact customer live chat without success 

 

Please advise

Could be a faulty SIM. You can goto your nearest Curry’s store with ID to get a replacement SIM.

Hey there ​@mario.langella, sorry to hear that.

 

As politely advised by ​@MZone, it could very well be a faulty SIM card.

 

We’d firstly recommend trying the SIM in another phone to see if the issue persists.

 

Secondly, we’d advise restarting the phone with the SIM card inside the phone you wish to use with this SIM card, and also resetting network settings.

 

If you therefore decide to try a replacement SIM card, the below should help further:

Hi and thanks for the reply. It was a faulty SIM indeed. Today I went to Currys and with the replacement SIM they gave you it was active in 15min after I contacted customer service.
