phone number issue

Hi there, my phone number hasn’t been updated when I changed contracts, even though I followed instructions at the time. I sometimes get messages to the right number and I receive calls but I cannot text

Hi there ​@Charlotte Clinch 

This tends to happen when you put the iD SIM in too soon (before the port has been updated) and the phone retains the provisional number allocated on the new SIM.

However, reading this may correct this:
