I have been using iD on my pixel 7 pro and am now receiving very few text messages. My number has recently transferred from O2 but before that messages were intermittent. I have reset the network and have powered the phone on and off but to no avail. I have checked the SIM info on the phone and it shows the original phone number.

I have possibly fixed the problem. The number I transferred was registered with Apple to use iMessage. Deregistering means that the wife now texts me. Should I change it back? 😂

Okay, if it was intermittent on both O2 and iD Mobile it sounds like it could be a device issue, or that coverage in your area is weaker for both networks.
Are you able to try your SIM in another device?
