I have recieved a SMS on my new ID sim to day porting of old number is complete reset phone which I have done. However my old device with old sim still active (EE) and all my messages are coming through on old sim and when I test my new ID dim it’s showing the new number (not my old number I ported across).

the ID app has changed with my old number now on my ID account.

 

Any suggestions what is happening?

Perhaps try restarting your old (EE) device, and try a NETWORK RESET on your new (iD) device, @JD1989?

If the switch from, EE to iD, was completed properly, your EE SIM card should be INACTIVE and all calls and texts should be going to the device using your iD SIM card. 

If that’s not happened, something might have gone wrong @JD1989, and you’ll need to get iD Mobile to fix things.

 

 


Thanks @andewhite finally ported over and after some fiddling round with the iMessage number an performing lots of resets on the new device all fixed thanks for your tips really useful
