The physical sim card reader on my phone has broken. I’ve checked my sim card in other phones and it works fine.

To get round the issue I decided to request an e-sim. However I’ve gone through the process several times on live chat (including using alternative email addresses) and never receive the email with the QR code on it. I’ve checked junk, spam, etc. but nothing.

I know other people have had this issue in the past, is there a solution?

Thanks

@hangeroner, sounds strange. Are you using a standard email such as gmail or outlook? Thanks.

Hi Matthew. Yes it's a standard hotmail account (I'm old!) but customer service also tried to send it to my gmail account as well with no luck. It's odd as I receive all other idmobile emails (bills, marketing, chat transcript, etc.)

Could you try again today for me? If it doesn't work, let me know and I’ll raise it with our eSIM team.

Thanks.

Hi Matthew I've tried again but the same thing. No email received. I've got an email copy of the chat transcript if that's needed. I'm not sure what the issue could be.

I’ve sent you a Private Message @hangeroner. Thanks.
