Hey there @Ann-Marie Weston Thyer, sorry to hear that.

Firstly, I’ve edited your post to hide your personal information, as we’d not recommend sharing your phone number(s) or anything over this public forum.

Secondly, in terms of your issue, what phone do you have please?

When you go into phone settings, is your phone number showing incorrectly?

Thanks,

Tyler

Hello, I recently joined id mobile and transferred my phone number. And here's the problem because when sending an SMS, my old number is not displayed but a different one. When I call, everything is as it should be. My phone is Google Pixel 9 pro. Please fix it. Thank you and best regards.

Hey there @sadzik611, please try the following:

1) Open Messages, go to Settings (top right, Message Settings), open "Chat Features" or "RCS Chats", verify if this is the correct number or not.

2) If it shows the incorrect one, then head to: https://messages.google.com/disable-chat and you should be able to unregister the number. Once done, turn off the Chat Features/RCS and the phone. Wait a few minutes and turn the device back on and re-enable Chat Features/RCS it should let you re-register/update to the correct number.

Alternatively, you can turn Chat Features/RCS off and test SMS after this.

Thanks,

Tyler
