Received a text message to say me new sim has been activated but I didn't request a new sim now I can't receive calls or texts

Hi there,

I received a text message to say new SIM has been activated but I have not requested a new SIM.  Now I have no phone signal and can’t receive text messages or calls even when connected to Wi-Fi.
