I have had the s24 ultra for the last few months and the phone itself has been great other than calling people which is the whole purpose of having a phone,  when I call company's who use call centres , all of them tend to not be able to hear me they say my call is cutting out , I have tried my sim card in an iPhone and the calls to the same places has been flawless , has anyone else had this issue , I also had this issue with my previous s21 , thanks in advance

Hi @Owen Satchwell

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on the community.

We are very sorry to hear you are experiencing the issues when making calls.

You have mentioned this only happens when calling call centres, are these any particular numbers such as those starting with 08?

Do any other calls have the issue?

Can you also please confirm your postcode?

Thanks,

Nat

Hi,

I have the same problem with the same phone. I cannot ring any call centre without them complaining that they can't hear me & being cut off.

03 & 08 numbers - banks, utilities, insurance companies etc...

Please advise

Yes I have this exact problem I've seen another post like it and there seems to be a common problem with Samsung phones and ID mobile , I think I'm going to try and swap my phone with currys

Hey there @Good2talk & @Owen Satchwell, sorry to hear that.

How long have you had issues for?

What’s your full postcode please?

Also, is it for all calls?

Thanks,

Tyler

Yeah the post code is DE110HT and it is when I make calls to 0800 numbers and 0300 number and the line operators say they struggle to hear me especially if I'm saying a long number ie account number

This happens anywhere , with or without WiFi calling in areas where i have good signal too so it seems to be the phone at fault because I have tried my sim in an iPhone and there's never an issue to an 0800 or 0333 number so I'm not sure

Thank you @Owen Satchwell . If the issue is not occurring when trying the SIM in another handset, it would suggest the issue does lie with the phone.

Where was this purchased please?

Hi,

My postcode is Dy4 and therebare no network issues in the area. Family are on other networks & I have to use their phone to contact those numbers which I unable to call due to the reception. This has been a problem for the last few months & previously not a problem as this is a new contract with new phone/network.

I purchased the contract from your website.

Thanks

Hey @Owen Satchwell, sorry about that.

What’s the full postcode so we can check it out please?

Is the issue only with calling quality?

Thanks,

Tyler

Not to worry now it seems that my problem has been escalated higher than this and I have logged a complaint with ID mobile

I have this exact same issue, Samsung s24 Ultra with ID sim card.

Appears a common issue between samsung phones and ID sim cards ...

Bit annoying when you're in a contract, may look to swap if they're not patching this.

Did anyone resolve this? Having the same issue so often. Only happens when I call a company/switchboard, they struggle to gear me especially numbers. S24 on id mobile.

Hi @Tomm636

Sorry to hear this, it doesn’t happen with regular calls to other mobiles?

Does this happen with multiple companies you’ve called?

Hi

Yes only to companies. As mentioned by others in this forum its a s24, so it seems to be a common issue with this phone on ID mobile. I tried borrowing a different sim a while ago and it seemed to cure it.

Hi @Tomm636

Thank you for your message. I’m sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue — I understand how frustrating it can be.

To help resolve this, could you please try performing a mobile network reset on your device and then test if the issue persists when calling companies? You can follow the steps below:

Steps to Reset Mobile Network Settings (Android):

Swipe down from the top right of the screen to open the quick settings menu

Tap the Settings icon

Scroll down and tap General Management

Tap Reset

Tap Reset Mobile Network Settings

Tap Reset Settings

Tap Reset to confirm

(Optional but recommended) Tap Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Settings

Tap Reset Settings to confirm

Press the Home button to return to the main screen

Restart your phone

Once done, please try making a call again and let me know if the issue continues. I’m happy to assist further if needed.

Hi there,

We understand how frustrating that may be. Could you check if your mobile number is being displayed in your settings?

Yes in "SIM SETTINGS" it is displayed.
