Samsung has taken my phone and not giving it back. What do I do?

Around the end of august, my phone’s battery started to bulge. I immediately notified Samsung support who said they would pick it up from my house and take it to a repair centre. They have been inconsistent with their updates since then and have notified me that the battery issue was ‘my fault’ and the warranty was broken due to scratches on the front of the phone. After attempting to charge me £139 for a repair they said they would replace the battery anyway but they were waiting on parts. I called a week after they sent me that email and they said they would “let me know of the whereabouts tomorrow”. That was yesterday and I still have no updates. It is nearly a month since I last had the phone and I was wondering if iD could help as I am currently paying for a phone I do not have. I am using an older phone as a replacement but this option is no longer viable.

You need to contact Samsung for an update. There is nothing iD Mobile can do to speed things up.

I am very sorry to hear this @hiddensea

As @WelshPaul  has advised, you will need to escalate this with Samsung.
