sim card not working

I have put my SIM card in and it’s coming up no signal and 4 dots. Ive tried resetting my phone. I had a SIM card come in the posts but lost it. So I went to curries yesterday for a new one. and it’s been 24hours and still nothing. I can’t get into my account as it’s asking for my mobile id number. But when it sends a text to the number I can’t receive it as there’s no signal. How do I fix this?

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble getting your replacement SIM working.

 

If it's been more than 24 hours since the replacement SIM was activated, we'd recommend trying the following:

  • Make sure the replacement SIM is inserted correctly.
  • Restart your phone.
  • Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then back off.
  • Ensure the SIM is in SIM slot 1 (if your phone has dual SIM capability).
  • Check that Network Selection is set to Automatic.
  • Perform a Network Settings Reset.

 

If you're still seeing No Service after trying the above, it may be that the replacement SIM hasn't activated correctly or there could be an issue with the line.
