sim card stopped working in phone

I’m trying to find live chat so I can speak to somebody about my SIM card not working. 
 

I’ve cleaned it, reset the network settings and nothings working. My phone has been in the repair shops over the years so I’m not sure if it could have something to do with that or just that I might need a replacement sim ? 
 

I tried using the SIM card in my sisters phone and it worked perfectly in her phone so it could be the phone?

How old is the phone and it is compatible on the iDM network?

 

 

Or it it’s a Samsung then it might be the previous providers software inhibiting the VoLTE functionality - what phone is it?

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the service. 

If the SIM works in another handset, it would indicate the issue would likely be with the phone/settings.

I have suffered SIM cessation twice. I have used this SIM in a Motorola G85 for two years without issue (listed as not compatible in ID mobiles instructions). Recently, when trying to log onto a holiday appartment wi-fi, I switched mobile data off, after which the SIM was no longer recognised (the SIM icon being greyed out). Having previously suffered no meaningful help on line or at Currys, I eventually found out that by putting my SIM in my wife's phone (Motorola G35 listed as being compatible) it worked again. By then putting in my G85, I found it was working again. Hope this might help somebody.
