Hello, I am leaving ID and have requested a switch request. I received a message from Id saying the switch has taken place. However when trying to transfer my old number from my old iPhone to my new iphone I receive an error message saying ‘Your SIM is not supported’ The Sim in your old iPhone does not support eSIN transfer. Contact id for assistance.’

I now have no mobile service on my old or new phone.

Can you help please?

If you have left iD then you don’t need to transfer the old iD eSIM over to the new phone. You need to use the new SIM of the provider you transferred your number to. Who is your new provider?

Thanks, it’s a Vodafone.

Ye you need to use the Vodafone SIM. The iD eSIM can be safely deleted now as it will have been disconnected as part of the number switch.

@Joanne Louise Anton

Presumably you'll want to keep your number and transfer it to Vodafone?

Follow the steps on this page... https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/leaving-id

Using your iD Mobile SIM, text PAC and your Date of Birth (DDMMYY) to 65075.

You can also request a PAC in the iD Mobile app.

Once you have the PAC code, you need to give it to vodaphone to apply the number onto the new Vodafone SIM you have from them.

Hi @Joanne Louise Anton

I’d recommend the same as the above, if you’ve left iD Mobile, delete the iD Mobile SIM and use the Vodafone SIM card going forward.
