Hi guys been stuck for 2 days now
I stupidly dropped my original sim and couldn’t find it , so then requested a replacement online which suggested a visit curry’s to get one. In the meantime I tried to get the eSIM but it would not deliver to my email and when it did I had around 5 eSIM requests come through to my email.
Tried to activate an eSIM but always failed to activate.
went to Meadowhall yesterday into curry’s and got a replacement sim and tried to activate it but keeps saying that the sim is activated already. Went back into curry’s and explained so they gave me another sim. Still the same saying already registered. This is all through the app trying to register it.
I went in live chat last night and they said I needed to wait 1 hour as the eSIM had activated even though it suggested it had t in my iPhone. I have deleted all eSIM from my phone and reset network settings. So waited over an hour and re tried to activate physical sim and it’s still saying it’s been activated, I have literally just tried again since leaving it overnight and yes still the same.
Please help. I have elderly parents who need to contact me and this is causing a big issue.
