I am able to send an SMS message but the number coming up on the recipients message is not mine. How can this be resolved please?

    Have you tried a NETWORK RESET on the phone with your iD SIM, ​@Jacqui Smithson? 

    The user guide for your phone should explain all the reset procedures.
