SMS to old SIM

Just joined ID from EE, transferred my number in the normal way with the PAC code.

I'm getting phone calls to my new SIM with my old number as expected, but SMS text messages still go to my OLD SIM even tho it says that is has no service and should be deactivated.

My new ID SIM make calls from my old number as expected but sends SMS messages from the number it started with, which should be dead and buried now.

Can anyone help? Will it just sort itself out in time?

    May I ask what device you are using? Have you tried a reboot?
