sorry your service does not allow access to this number


Been getting this message all evening on my phone (sorry your service does not allow access to this number) any idea what is wrong as everything else works just won’t allow me to make a call.

Yes this is happening with me too since around 4 was on the phone the call dropped tried calling back and got this message data and texts all working fine just no calls can be made out

Honestly I don’t know this is the first time this has happened im here trying to find answers too it seems to of happened to a few people today

Hopefully it fixes itself over night as mine has been doing it since around 4pm and still no change

Mine has been like it since 4 o clock too it was so random I was on the phone and then it cut off and started saying the service doesn’t allow calls to this number I’ve tried getting in touch but there useless

I was worried it was something t Do with my phone because not everyone has had this happen to them but fingers crossed it works again in the morning

Has anyone received a like this someone has posted it on a group on Facebook saying they’ve had issues today and received this text

Mine is still the same this morning, do ID mobile look at the chats to try and rectify the problems?

AFAIK  ​@Davecad83 they're only there anytime between 9am and 8pm in the week.

And these community forums are only monitored between 8am and roughly 6pm.

So there's every chance they won't even know yet. Happy to be corrected on the times.

All I can suggest is you keep restarting the phone every hour or so until the calls start working.

Same problem here - waited 120mins for human chat help - told faulty sim !?! - but reading all the posts i am not sure - in the meantime I can’t make any calls (including WiFi calls) BUT can receive calls, can send text messages

Still not working for me this morning either. How can it be a faulty sim when people have the same issue that started at the same time? I can receive calls and can make WiFi calls.

I’m having to use WhatsApp to make voice calls. Not sure if it’s a particular area that’s affected but my postcode is PR7 ?

I don’t think its a particular area, I’m WR9 so Midlands and mine has been the same since yesterday afternoon too. I was told last night that they had reset my account and would work within an hour….well that was 7pm and 13 hrs later it’s still doing the same thing. It’s definitely not a phone issue as I can use my works Vodafone sim in the phone and works perfectly yet switch the ID sim into that phone and it’s still dead.

Same issue. Since 4pm yesterday my entire network went down - I can't make or recieve phone calls or texts or use mobile data if not on wifi. Also tried customer support via chat but they just sent me the troubleshooting guide for this and the 3G network being turned off. None of these steps work and my phone simply cannot connect to the ID network any more. Had to disconnect from chat to try restarting my phone, and when I cam le back it was 2hrs wait to speak to an agent, by the time I got through agents were all offline. They arent online again til 9am sp Ive been without network (and it seems many of us have) for hours with zero support or acknowledgement that this is clearly a problem impacting multiple customers. I have a Samsung S24 which is definitely able to use the 4G network.

I’m also unable to still make calls but still can receive and both data and texts are working but what a joke this is I have solicitors to ring and can’t even get though

I am also affected by this message since around 4pm yesterday. I can receive calls and send texts but can’t make calls or use mobile data. It couldn’t have come at a worse time as we had snow and I was leaving work early and still took 4 hours to get home with a phone that would have been useless if I broke down.

Appears there’s an issue with ID mobile not our sims or the weather. Chat is a joke, it keeps coming back to the same questions and I can’t seem to get a ‘human’ on the telephone!!  Any ideas how to get help to resolve this issue?   Complaint???

 

I need to use my phone to make calls, this is so frustrating !

Clearly a bigger problem - I have just bought a Vodafone sim and requested PAC code from Idmobile - my number is now with Vodafone - whole thing took less than 1.5 hours - shame on you Idmobile
