Hi there
By default iDM’s preferred tethering setting uses the 5GHz spectrum and if any devices are only 2.4GHz then these devices (like a Ring doorbell) can’t connect. So for starters you could try nudging it down to 2.4GHz only and then see if any devices then start to reconnect automatically. This setting is on the phone itself, not the iD app.
The other thing to try is on one of these devices is to forget that tethering hotspot and then manually reconnect again - if this then works it might be a device caching issue and you might need do the same for the other devices
