Help please I'm not tech savvy at all! So any help given needs to be idiot proof please! 🤣 I've sent some text messages and they are coming through as a different number. Under the info on my phone it has the correct mobile number. I very rarely text but I've sent a few recently and the recipients are asking who I am? Why is this happening and how do I correct it? Thankyou

I've been having this issue for the past 2.5 years - basically since I switched to ID. I asked for my previous number to be carried over to my new contract and this issue has periodically resurfaced since - nobody at ID seems to know what's going on, and no solution that has been provided has stuck.The number I keep switching to is the number that I was initially provided by ID, before asking for my original phone number to be transferred over.

I’m having the exact same problem! It is so annoying. I hope we can get help here.
