If you have obtained a replacement handset, then all you need to do is request a replacement SIM/eSIM. The following FAQ explains how to do just that:

If you purchased a new iD Mobile plan that came with a new device, then you will have to port out your old number and port it back to iD Mobile as instructed below:

  1. Get a PAC from iD for the number you want to keep.
  2. Give the PAC from step 1 to a PAYG service provider, e.g. ASDA Mobile, giffgaff, etcetera.
  3. Wait until the number you want to keep has been successfully switched to the provider chosen in step 2.
  4. Get a PAC from provider chosen in step 2, for the number you want to keep.
  5. Give the PAC from step 4 to iD Mobile for the iD contract you’re planning to keep.

Hi @Helen Coyle

Are you on an eSIM or physical SIM?

You should just be able to move the SIM card from your Samsung over to the Google Pixel and be good to go.

Hey there @Helen Coyle, we hope the great advice from @WelshPaul has been able to help. If it’s a new plan, you would need to do a triangle port, which is indeed outlined above how to do via @WelshPaul.

Any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Thanks,

Tyler
