Hi, I am leaving my business after many years and will take my works phone number with me. I have the PAC details.  How do I transfer my works number to my new phone?

Hi, I don’t have an ID sim.

I can’t text anyone as when i enter say Whatsapp, it asks for my phone number, I don’t have one. I can’t enter Web Chat as the first thing asked for is my name and phone number.

I need the welcome pack, how do i get this?

Not sure - sorry.

Just to say, my iD welcome pack (email) arrived more than 1-month after I joined iD Mobile.

You’ll need an iD SIM in order to switch your ‘old’ work number to iD Mobile - have you ordered an iD SIM?

I have received verification of my account but to transfer my number from work to personal ID account I need a transfer number which comes from the ‘Welcome to ID’ email, but I do not have this welcome email?

Which mobile service provider were you using for your works phone number, @Dave Hawkins

I am finding this whole process infuriating, particularly as I can't get to speak to a human.

I have not received my 'welcome pack' from ID. The information contained within the Welcome Pack would allow me to follow the porting of my phone number from my previous provider to ID process. I have the PAC etc.

Okay @Dave Hawkins, I know from experience how frustrating iD Mobile can be at times.

Assuming you’ve already got your iD SIM, it’s already activated and connected to the iD network, so just call or text a friend/family member, and they can tell you the mobile number initially assigned to your iD account.

Just to say, iD don’t have a telephone support helpline, but you can use their online web chat service to ‘speak’ to an adviser online.

The iD advisers work until 8pm on weekdays - just tell the 24/7 iD bot you’d like to “talk to a person”.

This community article might help.

No, don’t think I have. Set up a Direct Debit etc but not so sure I have a iD Sim coming

Hi, I now have an eSim and Direct debit set up. The next saga now starts, trying to transfer my old number to iD. I have followed the page suggested, entered all my details and keep getting a pink/red box stating there is an issue with the data I submitted. It is all correct - my PAC code (which I checked with my provider), current used number, new ID phone number and transaction code. All checked and checked again. Yet still saying they are wrong.

I think this is a clear sign of things to come and feel i need to find another provider.

Sorry to hear this @Dave Hawkins

Have you managed to get this sorted, or would you still like some assistance with porting your number?
