At iD Mobile, we do not lock our phones, so you can use a different SIM card any time you want. The only iD Mobile phones that are locked are iPhones made before 2018. To find out if your phone is unlocked, just insert a SIM card from another network to see if the name of the network appears on your handset.
What phone do you have please and when did you purchase it from us?

iPhone 13….so two years ago so should be ok

I would advise testing a different network SIM.
However your handset will definitely be unlocked.

As previous customers at ID Mobile, my partner and I recently upgraded to new phones in December after our 2 year contracts came to an end. I visited a shop to sell our old Samsung phones for cash. He informed me that my partners phone was locked but mine wasn't. Another store also told me the same thing.
How is this and how can we unlock her phone please?
