WiFi calling not working, but enabled

My phone’s Wi-Fi calling is enabled but it doesn’t seem to be working. I can’t make any calls while connected to Wi-Fi even though there’s a signal.

I have any eSIM that operates on an iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 26.4

Hi @Alexbw,

Thanks for your message.

We’re very sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with Wi-Fi Calling, especially while you’re also having signal problems. We understand how frustrating this can be.

To help resolve this, please try the following steps: restart your phone, toggle Wi-Fi Calling off and back on, and reset your network settings by going to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Once done, reconnect to Wi-Fi and check if Wi-Fi Calling starts working again.

Please keep us updated, and we’ll be happy to assist further if the issue continues.

Thanks,

Kwanele

Hi @Egavai,

We're really sorry to hear you've been dealing with this for so long. We completely understand how frustrating it must be, especially when it's causing you to miss important calls.

As you've already tried the troubleshooting steps multiple times, used a different device, and the issue keeps returning, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Service team via Live Chat so they can log a technical ticket with our network team for further investigation.

You can contact them here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We appreciate your patience and hope we can get this resolved for you.

Unfortunately I have been in touch with the customer service team several times but I have been given the same answers with the same troubleshooting steps.
