Music Muisc Music

happiness is getting home after a busy day at work when its dark & cold outside, putting on my pyjamas & curling up in a blanket with a good book to read

My beautiful black cat Tino sitting on my lap, purring away makes me so happy. Stroking the soft, fluffy coat is so therapeutic, he really grounds me and makes me so grateful to be his human.

Spending time with people is unbeatable but when I'm feeling overwhelmed one of my favourite things to do is make sure I get outside and I look up, at the sky, trees, clouds, I do this for a while and take some slow breaths. Its grounding and uplifting at the same time, it reminds you how this little section of your world isn't everything and these things will always be there slowing doing what they do, whatever is going on in your life or day. Everyone should try it!!!

What makes me happy is the balance I’ve created between family, work, and personal time. As a mum of two children and a long-term fiancé, my family is at the heart of everything I do. Watching my children grow and thrive fills me with immense pride and joy, and the moments we spend together are priceless.

I also find great satisfaction in my work, which keeps me challenged and engaged, while allowing me to contribute to my family's well-being. However, it's the small personal joys that truly lift my spirits – a hot cup of coffee in the morning, the peaceful rhythm of crocheting, and the simple pleasure of being outdoors, whether it's a walk in the park or a quiet moment in nature. These moments of calm and creativity bring balance and contentment to my busy life.

I love playing in bands, watching the people sing and dance and releasing their inhibitions. There's a great joy in that, I get lost when I play. It's the most satisfying feeling. Nailing the riffs and rocking out. Everyone should learn to play music...even if it's just a tambourine. Music...best thing...EVER!! 🤘🤘🤘

Nothing beats getting out in the fresh air whether sunny or dark and rainy, I try and go out for a run 4-5 times a week and pop my favourite tunes on x

Spending time with our grandchildren, planning our next cruise, walking in the Lake District, driving my Mini Cooper, watching Peter Kay, eating chocolate, watching the original Bond films with Sean Connery. 😍😍

My kids and Partner (most of the time). Getting outdoors, crisp frosty weather, long hot baths and showers, good food and catching up with my friends.

My kids, we thought we'd never have any and after allot of heartache we were blessed with two, they drive me crazy at times, but they make me proud every day, and watching them grow into kind & funny little adults, I know I've done at least one thing right

I'm happy when I know my family are OK. When I can get out in my garden and do some gardening. When I have a bit of money left over to treat us to a meal or show. When I can enjoy the sun in the garden and entertain family or friends. When I can snuggle up inside with a good book or watch a film when it's cold outside. The simple things in life that don't cost a lot are the best. 😊

Really boring but I love Sunday mornings when the kids all climb into bed and we all watch rubbish tv and have a lazy morning. Followed by a big family roast dinner and film evening  with blankets and popcorn
