The act and the smell of puncturing a new jar of coffee...deep breaths...ahhhh...then get told off by the supermarket staff

Spending quality time with my daughter in the great outdoors makes me my happiest. We walk, cycle, geocache, talk about all sorts and have a great laugh while we're at it (sometimes running from a pretend bear whilst exploring through the woods)

My Grandson who is now four, was born premature thirteen weeks early, so watching him achieve all the things the doctors said he wouldn’t be able to do like sit up, walk and jump is what makes me happy

The one think that makes me happy in life is my family, recently we have grown a strong connection due to some bad times, the bond and conversations we share now, support and laughs is what life is all about

The best thing I ever did was upgrade my daughters ID mobile plan to unlimited. Now I get to see her beautiful smile on face time while she is away at UNI. She has made a great life and friendship group. Now all I have to do is get hold of her when she is awake.

After 3 years of relentless bullying, my Son is finally out of the school that failed him terribly and he is smiling too.

Everything else seems insignificant now. :)

every Monday morning I weigh myself. Have been dieting since last June because of several health issues, and I have lost 4 stone. so every pound gone on a Monday makes me feel so happy.

Spending time with my two younger sisters. They’re both in their 30s now but whenever we’re together it’s like we’re all back to being kids laughing at the most stupid things (much to our partners annoyance 🤣) sibling language is the best.

Going for a brisk walk on  a crisp morning with my dog. I always dread getting up on such cold days, but wrapping up warm and listening to my favorite podcast is such a great start to the day. Watching my dog playing on the beach is a tonic in itself. Seeing him happy makes me happy 😊

Getting outside with my family and pooch, but then escaping and having time to myself later - nothing exciting but that’s sort of the point at this time of year.
