Parc asterix near Paris is far better value and rides than Disneyland Paris.  Everyone loves it when we go there.

Best hidden tip I have is always have a pen.

best hidden gem is just find somewhere the locals eat and drink. It will always be cheaper and more fun

The best hidden gem would have to be when I went to zante and we went to a bay and decided to climb the mountain. ( only locals knew about this) and wow the view was absolutely beautiful absolutely amaizng.

The best hidden gem I’ve ever discovered was a tiny cove tucked away at the end of a coastal path. There were no crowds, just crystal-clear water, the sound of the waves, and the feeling that I’d stumbled across a place only the locals knew about. It turned an ordinary day into one I’ll never forget.

The best hidden gem I’ve discovered was Cala S’Alguer, just outside Palamós on Spain’s Costa Brava. I reached it on foot along the coastal path from La Fosca and suddenly found this tiny rocky cove hidden among pine trees, with old fishermen’s huts and brightly painted doors along the shore. There were no big hotels or busy promenades. It felt like discovering a little piece of the Costa Brava that everyone else had walked straight past.

I highly reccomend Speiches Rock and Blues Kneipe bar in Berlin. It's a cool jazz bar that only the locals know about. We only found out about it because our friends cousin plays for the Berlin symphony orchestra. Alot of the pro and elite orchestra players go here to play some more "fun" music and let loose. They play for a few hours then they stop and drink with the guests! They also have a separate pool room which is like something out of WW2 movies and they are very welcoming and the regulars got us all involved. Here is a link to the bar https://share.google/5GMAN4TGhXxzCNHQm

Definitely the highlight of my trip to Berlin!

A hidden beach in Skiathos. Crystal-clear water, hardly anyone around, and absolutely no regrets… apart from coming home! 😎☀️

Secluded bay through a disused stone bridge. The drop was very step to get to the bay but once down there the beach was covered in very round stones. Strange but beautiful!

A hidden underground karaoke bar in Budapest, ended up being one of the best nights !!

My best holiday hidden gem wasn’t a place—it was packing each child’s outfit into an IKEA bag. One bag per day with everything inside: top, bottoms, underwear, socks, and even PJs. No rummaging through suitcases, no “Muuum, where are my shorts?” It made mornings so much easier and saved my sanity! 😂🧳💙

The best gem I discovered is taking coaches instead of trains when abroad. They’re significantly cheaper than trains and sometimes even faster and more reliable.

The most amazing view and garden I’ve ever been in is Jardin Exotique d’Èze in Eze, along the coast from Monte Carlo. A hidden gem if you, like me, didn’t know about it before stumbling across it. The sea views are breathtaking, looking over all the buildings below, while you’re surrounded by stunning gardens. It’s quite a sun trap too and wonderfully peaceful. It didn’t seem very busy either as it’s right at the top of the hill. A sanctuary I highly recommend.

Packing cubes! They make everything so easy to find, you can pack them by clothes type (shorts, dresses, underwear, accessories etc) or pack each cube per day & have everything organised! We each have a set and when we start to have dirty washing I then use them to separate the washing into different colours according to how they’ll go in the washing machine when we get home!

My biggest win is taking a power converter extension cord so I get 4 sockets from one, so much easier than multiple converters!

What’s the best hidden gem you’ve ever discovered on holiday?

Many By talking or following the locals. Restaurants just round the corner home made without chips lol.

That beach with no sunbeds walk that extra ten minutes.  Track the tides.

Different gem Different places. No one stands out the most but each holds magic on each trip.
