To clean a very dirty or encrusted pan, put in a used tea bag and leave for a while.

Make sure you use high quality cloths and products, the cheap stuff doesnt do it well enough.
add a few drops of fairy to your wash bucket when cleaning your car, the soapyness makes the sponge glide over the paint work

2 parts baking soda, 1 part washing‑up liquid and a splash of water (if you want it smoother): this will give a creamy paste that spreads easily. The baking soda is a gentle abrasive and natural deodoriser, while the washing‑up liquid cuts through grease. Together then, they form a paste that clings to surfaces and lifts grime without scratching. It’s basically the Swiss Army knife of homemade cleaners, giving you great results on ovens & hobs (burnt‑on grease, metal racks, glass doors), sinks and taps (stainless steel, ceramic, composite), shower trays and tiles, trainers (honestly, rubber soles come up like new!), wall marks, fridge shelves, stains in cups etc etc.

For an extra kick, to lift the last of the grime, splash on some white vinegar after you’ve scrubbed with the paste. It reacts with the baking soda and helps lift residue. Don't use vinegar in the original mix though, it stops it working.

It’s more psychological than a cleaning tip, but I think the best cleaning hack is to do a little every day rather than feeling overwhelmed cleaning less frequently!

Use candle wax on the faucet to prevent water marks
Use a hair dryer to blow the dust out of your heaters

Lemon and salt to disinfect wooden cutting boards

If cleaning your house seems overwhelming, then ‘chunk’ it. Do 15 min of focused tidying/cleaning/organising in one area every day and suddenly the mountain that was overwhelmingly tall to scale loses it’s Mt Everest vibes. You’re welcome!

Get the spinning nozzle, i don’t clean my patio, I pressure-wash it into a new postcode. Dirt deserves a violent end, not a gentle rinse

To clean mold on uPVC windows, use 1 part white vinegar, 1 part water, put into a empty spray bottle, spray on affected areas and leave to soak in for 30 mins to an hour, then wipe off with a non abrasive sponge, job done!

My absolute best cleaning hack is to clean from top to bottom with a microfibre cloth, warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid, then finish mirrors and glass with a dry cloth or squeegee. It is cheap, quick, and tackles fingerprints, grease and mysterious marks that nobody in the house ever seems willing to admit to. The results are streak-free, oddly satisfying, and make me look far more on top of life than I really am.

My absolute best cleaning hack or tip would be using both bicarbonate soda and white vinegar. This combination alone is very effective and versatile and cleans almost everything, also helps with odour. From the bedroom to the bathroom these cleaning tools are your best friends. ;)

I recommend using white vinegar baking soda and fairy to make a paste that can then be used to clean and remove pretty.much any dirt 😊

I find Isopropyl alcohol (surgical spirit) a great cleaning aid as it shifts grease really well but is also water soluble. Great on electrical items too such as cleaning mucky switches

Use a damp microfibre cloth with hot soapy water for most surfaces, then dry with a second cloth. This cuts grease, lifts dust properly, and leaves everything streak-free. No need for overpriced chemicals!
