I always hoover the dog before vacuuming the carpets. And if the wife's been moulting I remove the hair from the brush-bar on the hoover.

To deal with any stains that get to you 😒
Like when you’re car is met by pigeon poo 🕊
Spray the spot with water or anything you choose 🚿
Then have some tea and take a break ☕
A few minutes is all it’ll take ⌛
Let that liquid work, while you stand by🤔
Then effortlessly wipe with a kitchen towel ✋
It'll dissapear that stain and leave it dry 😏😃

My best cleaning hack is to use narrow crevice brushes. They are inexpensive and great for corners, behind the gas hob, edge of the shower tray, inside window frames,  cleaning taps and shower heads etc., etc., etc! A word of caution though because some have a very sharp end. I apply a blob of UHU glue and leave to set then they don’t scratch a thing.

DON’T get a pet bird! 🙄
If you think fur babies are bad then try living with one of these health hazards, especially Cockatoos, Cockatiels or African Greys!😤
Their dander is like living in a perpetual dust storm😡
Anyone remember those powder puffs you used to get in the cardboard containers of scented talc??🤔 How you used it to apply the talc to your body and then you couldn’t see a thing for the ‘cloud’ of powder and then you would find it on EVERY surface within a 100 meter radius?? THAT!! THAT is what it’s like being a parront and don’t get me started on where you will find seed and seed husks (hint: knickers, bra, socks, beds, bags, food, drinks etc😶)

My greatest cleaning hack, White vinegar. I use it give my wall tiles a sparkle, clean my stainless steel appliances and add it to soapy water for cleaning my windows.

Regular cleaning of vacuum cleaner filters. It's an easy one to miss, but you do notice the difference once filters have been washed and dried.

Best cleaning hack is to use WD40 to remove marks on windows that normal window cleaner does not remove.

For really difficult limescale make up a paste of citric acid and leave it on for a few minutes.. it crumbles off

Mine is to use citric acid to de-scale my kettle. It’s looking like new on the inside!

Get paid to do people’s cleaning. I’ve been a cleaner for 20 years, I love the satisfaction I get when something has been cleaned properly and the bonus is, I get paid to do it. My clients are always happy because they haven’t had to do the cleaning. Also, vinegar is a must in my experience,  best cleaning product ever. Thank you.

Always do the wheels first, then the car, using a two bucket safe wash method. A decent pressure washer makes the difference. Don't slip. Get a kranzle and thank me later

Don’t ignore internal cleaning i.e. cleansing of the mind. For this and protection, the Gayatri Mantra has been highly recommended to all, whatever faith:

Om Bhur Bhuvaḥ Suvaha
Tat-savitur Vareñyaṃ
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi
Dhiyo Yonaḥ Prachodayāt

Every time I leave a room, I spend 2 minutes putting things back or wiping a surface. It stops mess from building up, so cleaning never becomes a big job.

When you’re stressed or angry, whack on some banging tunes on your phone, put your air pods/headphones in and start your cleaning while you listen to some cool songs. You work faster, get the jobs done quicker and you  have a sparkling clean house to boot. Your stress and anger will be much better and you’ll feel chilled. Happy Days 🫧 💪🧼🫧🌼
