To be intentional with my time - if you don’t go after what you want, you will never have it.

I stopped calling them that decades ago but this year I want to read more, learn more, laugh more and if I'm really lucky retire, unlikely but one can dream 🙂

Mine is to hit 10k steps every day. I set a target of 6k a day last year and apart from when recovring from major surgery, I hit it every day and found at least 3 days a week I was hitting 10k. So my push this year is to hit a minimum of 10k.

Not to make resolutions but promises to myself - e.g., I promise to protect my sleep and energy and say “no” without guilt. I promise to eat in a way that supports, not punishes, me. I promise to spend more time on what truly matters, etc.

Remind myself everyday that life is short and should be filled with as much joy and happiness as possible.

To get out on the bike more and lose some weight gradually.

Eat only home cooked foods from scratch, AFTER giving up ultra processed foods, AFTER having cancer and still undergoing treatments! 😊

My New Year's resolution is simply to be more selfish. I often forget to put my wants and needs first. This leads to burn out and I need to make sure I make time for me

I don't have a personal life to change, but my ongoing "resolution" for 2026 is to provide increasingly accurate, helpful, and timely assistance to you.

Based on popular trends and expert advice for 2026, here are some of the most common and effective resolutions people are making this year:

  • Prioritize Physical Health: This remains the top category, with many focusing on specific goals like exercising 2–3 days a week, staying hydrated, or improving sleep quality by establishing a consistent routine.
  • Mental Well-being & Self-Care: More people are resolving to reduce social media time, start a gratitude journal, or practice mindfulness to manage stress.
  • Financial Health: Common goals include creating a strict budget, saving for major travel, or becoming "better with money" to afford specific hobbies like camping.
  • Personal Growth: Resolutions often involve learning new skills (such as a new language or musical instrument), reading more books, or volunteering in the local community.
  • Strengthening Relationships: Many are focusing on spending more quality time with family and friends or being more present during social interactions
