1 month only sim card for UK and Republic of Ireland

I will be traveling to the UK and Republic of Ireland and only need a sim card for a maximum of 3 weeks. If I go to a Currys store and purchase the sim, do I need a credit check? I’m asking because I keep my credit accounts locked here in the USA and don’t want to unlock them while traveling.

Hi @JonP yes, a credit check is required for all SIM only and pay monthly purchases.
